Sei mutig! Glaube an dich selbst! Tue was sich gut anfühlt. Gehe Risiken ein! Versuche so viel zu erleben, wie es nur geht und mehr zu sehen, als manche Menschen sich vorstellen können! Sammle Erfahrungen! Lebe deine Träume, anstatt sie sich nur vorzustellen! Du hast dieses eine Leben. Mach dich selbst stolz."

Ich heiße Jean, bin 16 Jahre alt und lebe sehr gerne nach diesem Motto. So kam es auch, dass ich mich entschloss ein Jahr im Ausland zu verbringen. Im Sommer wird mein Flieger Richtung USA starten. Dort werde ich in einer Gastfamilie leben und eine Highschool besuchen.

do you know that feeling when you wake up and think: "today is gonna happen something great!"? It was my last day of school and I should have been the opposite of happy because it would be my very last day going through the hallways, seeing my teacher and most of my classmates, opening my locker,... South Carolina: Von kaputten Dächern, Polizisten und Sonnenaufgängen am Strand

Meine Youth Group fährt jedes zweite Jahr auf einen Mission Trip . Diesen Sommer ging es nach South Carolina und Suzy und ich hatten die Ehre mitfahren zu dürfen. 💓 Seit Monaten hatte ich mich auf diese Zeit gefreut, denn was ist aufregender als mit deinen Freunden wegzufahren? Am 16. Juni sind wir dann also um Mitternacht in unser Abenteuer aufgebrochen. 16 Stunden haben wir gebraucht, glaube ich. Angekommen, waren wir fix und fertig von der Hitze . Es waren weit über 30 Grad und keiner von uns war darauf vorbereitet. Gut, dass Amerikaner überall und immer Klimaanlagen haben! 😅 Wir haben dann also angefangen uns einzurichten und nach und nach die anderen Gruppen kennengelernt. Abends gab es immer Worship und kleine Predigten oder Aufgaben für die Gruppen zu lösen. Auch morgens gab es immer eine kleine Andacht . I LIVED my dream (Video)

today one year ago I started the most amazing, life-changing, and memorable 10 month of my life. I still remember the first weeks when every trip to the grocery market was super exciting, the biggest challenge of the day was to open my locker, and some talks could have been in Chinese as well because I didn't understand a word. But time flew by and people who were once just names on a sheet of paper became my family, people I just met became friends, and Michigan became my second home. This year taught me SO much and I cherish all the memories and experiences I made, beautiful and bad. So I just want to say thank y'all for being part of my adventure and making it so unforgettable and fun!! THANK YOU Mom & Dad for giving me a home and a place in your heart!! You are the best, most loving, caring, supporting, and fun host family I could have asked for. I miss you guys so much and I work hard for a coming back soon! ❤️ have fun watching my little video :)
